Critical Mindsets

What sets successful financial services professionals apart from the rest? The MDRT Academy has identified eight Critical Mindsets for success: Balance, Connectivity, Curiosity, Discipline, Ethics, Motivation, Purpose and Self-awareness. In the Learn section of the website and app, your advisors can develop and learn about each one through a variety of resources.

The ways these Mindsets can impact your work and life are limitless. Start by heading into the Develop Yourself section and watching each of the Critical Mindset animations. This will give you a solid base for your learning.

Practice with your own purpose

Having a sense of purpose will guide you on the right path. After watching the Purpose Critical Mindset animation, choose three resources aimed at clarifying your purpose, then write a mission statement that articulates your own.

Self-reflect

Remember, you won’t have the capacity to excel in every one of these Mindsets right away. Consider which Critical Mindset resonates the most with you and come to your next group discussion ready to share which it is and why.
